Equidistance and Ratio-Distance
By tracing the intersections of circles expanding out from two points, we can see that the set of points equidistant from two points form a line--and by varying the rate they expand, we can see what happens when the distances are not equal, but are instead locked in a constant ratio.
- Click in the canvas area to move the centers.
- Change the relative expansion rate with the ratio text box.
- Can't see the full shape? Increase the loop count--the number of iterations it will run before looping.
